The Path of Least Resistance

These two will invariably take the path of least resistance in whatever ventures and direction on which they embark. Their ability to identify and teach themselves the simpler and more direct route to any problem’s solution will make them seem quite brilliant. Their relationship makes them nonconformists, unafraid to choose the road less traveled. It is usually the Aquarius II who shows the Leo III how to do things the easier way. Leo III Leaders tend to barge through any obstacles they face, whereas Aquarius II’s usually find another way around any difficulties without confronting them directly.

In love affairs, Leo III intensity is tempered by the more relaxed attitudes of Aquarius II’s producing a match-up at once exciting and enjoyable. Both partners often grow to love their relationship as much as or more then they like each other. Thus the affair treads the middle ground, partaking of the best each partner has to offer. Its sensuous tendency is underlined by the fact that Leo III and Aquarius II, ruled by fire and air, respectively form a relationship governed by the element of earth, here emphasizing carnal delights. Marriages between these two may not be taken completely seriously by other people but can work out well as long as Leo III’s don’t get too bossy and Aquarius II’s too irresponsible.

Sibling Match-ups and friendships in this combination are not always harmonious, since each partner is all too aware when he or she is being coerced or manipulated by the other. The fist-in-the-velvet-glove routine works well on other people but is all too transparent when employed within the relationship itself. Career match-ups on the other hand, can go extremely well, usually with Leo III’s taking the lead and Aquarius II’s acting as their right hand, advisor and confessor. Hanging loose in the saddle is not a Leo III specialty, but this relationship’s natural quality eases tensions all around. Leo III's lend dynamism to Aquarius II’s who, in turn, can make their partner’s directives more palatable to other people.

Advise: You can’t have things you own way all the time-sometimes you have to conform. Take but also give. Be both more and less serious.
